Lancôme Miracle Cushion Review

Today I am going to review the Lancôme Miracle Cushion Compact (with refill).

This is Lancômes first fluid filled cushion compact that gives and effortless dewy complexion. It  is weightless and can be build able depending on what type of coverage you are looking for.

I brought this compact so I can have a light coverage for work, I have very acne prone skin and redness on my cheeks that I feel I cannot go bare faced 😦 oh well. Also it has an SPF of 23 which means I’m less likely to burn woo hoo!

The picture on the left is me without any make up on and the second picture is one layer of the Lancôme Cushion Foundation. It feels weightless on my skin and covers up most blemishes that I would otherwise be uncomfortable showing. If I wanted to build up the coverage I can apply another layer or use a concealer if needed.
The compact itself looks quite beautiful, it has a silvered mirror lid with the Lancôme logo, this unfortunately show every single finger print/smudge but that’s just a wipe away.

The bottom compact is white, it can be popped out to refill the compact (which is sold separately) and details what colour it is.

Inside the compact is a nice sized mirror – perfect for when your on the move, and a applicator sponge (sorry about the state of my sponge!)

Once the sponge is taken away there is a a lid which houses the cushion foundation. This seals the foundation keeping it from drying out (which would cost you a fortune to replace all the time)

The shade I have chosen is number 2 beige rosé which suits me perfectly and I feel it gives me a nice dewy glow.

I have used this foundation daily at work for about two months and I do like it. However, if you are wanting a foundation that hides all blemishes and has full coverage then this is not for you. If you just want a more natural look then personally this would be perfect.
